Best High Back Booster for Vacation Trip

Hi, looking for some advice on the best high back booster to take with us on a week long family vacation.

My DD is 4.5yrs old and weighs 35 lbs (she's thin). She is in a Radian XTSL in our own car, but we are planning a vacation to Colorado for a week and whereas I have traveled with that beast several times, I would like to avoid lugging such a heavy seat through the airport and the hassle with the Radian. She's never been in a booster before, and I don't want to spend a ton of money. Is it best to find a cheaper/lighter 5 pt harness seat to bring or is a high back booster good to have in my stockpile for these situations as she gets older (and I would already have it as she grows).

I saw that Evenflo has a Big Kid Sport high back booster that would work for her weight. Any thoughts or other recommendations?

On vacation is not where I'd look to find out my 35 pound 4.5 year old is not ready for the plane's belt alone (the FAA recommends a harness until 40 pounds) or a booster.

I'd look at the Evenflo Maestro, though. Super lightweight and easy to install on a plane and in a rental car.

Thanks. To clarify, she has flown on a plane with the radian and without a harness. The last time the airline told me she was not allowed to sit in a car seat at all, so we had to store the radian. I didn't realize they were incorrect on that!

I am more thinking of the weight factor of carrying the seat and ease of install in rental car, not as much as the actual flight situation. I also have a 1 year old who will be riding in a RF Cosco for ease of travel (at home has a Diono).

I just wasn't sure if I should be getting a 30lb allowance high back booster or if there is a lightweight/budget friendly 5 pt that is convenient.
