Recaro coupe

I was wondering if anyone who has used the Recaro Coupe infant seat had issues if their little on was on the chunkier side. Does a child who is 34lbs and 31 inches tall fit comfortably in this seat? Or is the narrow width going to be an issue for the bigger babies?

The seat has a limit of 35#. I would not buy it for a 34# child!

I'm asking will the child at almost the weight and or height limit be comfortable in the seat still? Not that I'm buying for that size of a child. My boys were big babies and I'm wondering if this seat will be good for a while.

I haven't seen this seat in person. Based on pictures, it doesn't look small on the interior so you may be fine getting a kid to the weight and height limit.

If you for sure want a seat that will last a long time, the Graco Classic Connect 35 has the same limits. My ds made it to 18 months in the safeseat1, which was the lower weight limit predecessor to this seat. He was close to the height limit but still had some weight to go and he had plenty of space.

Another good bet to get to those higher limits is the Combi Shuttle 35. My dd made it until almost 2 in this seat and had plenty of room in it.

Like most rear facing only seats, it doesn't look to me like it will actually fit most kids at the top of the weight range.
