Advocate or Boulevard ClickTight?

I'm wanting to take advantage of the Britax sale and get a convertible for my 4-week old to use down the line. I'm debating between the Advocate and Boulevard CT.

I have a 2004 Honda Pilot and it will be in the middle of the second row, with my middle son in a Britax Parkway (no back) on one side and my oldest son in a seatbelt on the other. Do you think the Advocate will take up too much room?

Rear facing they're the same width. The difference is at the child's shoulders.

Forward facing down the line, I think it would. I'd go with the Boulevard.

How old, tall, and heavy are the other two kids?

Congrats on your new baby! I would get the advocate but that's just me. I know the new advocate rear faces the longest on the market right now height wise. Not sure about the boulevard. The ct advocate is wat less bulky than the 3G model advocate

The Advocate and the Boulevard ClickTight are the same height. The only difference is the width, which is important in a three across.

My oldest is 8, 5'2" and 110 lbs. He's huge, and has passed the 5-step test for riding with just the seat belt. My middle is 6, 4'6" and weighs 66 lbs

We will be getting a new car in the next two years, most likely a bigger SUV. So by the time the baby is ready to forward face I'm hoping we won't be dealing with three across anymore. I plan to keep the baby RF until at least two, which is one reason we are going with one of these two seats--we need the extra height to make it!

Awesome deal!

Considering your plan...I'd go with the Advocate CT if you want to. Rear-facing, those added cushions are not a problem. Ours is installed in the center of our '09 Honda Odyssey today...boys on either side have room to buckle in their boosters. In *this* vehicle, if it were in the center forward facing, it wouldn't be very comfortable for them, but I bet it would work in the Pilot. Might not be idea, but it would work. If you are thinking that in a few years, you'll have a different vehicle with 3 rows and won't be worried about a 3 across, then those cushions will not be a problem. And fwiw, even your really tall kiddos will likely make it well past 2 rear facing in either the Blvd CT or the Advocate CT. These things are TALL!! Awesome for forward facing later, too...not that much shorter than the Frontiers. ;)

Advocate CT's were $314 on albeebaby.com yesterday. Blvd CT's were even less. (-;
