I have the Peg and the Pria on my living room floor! Now that I am actually spending quality time with them, lol, I have some questions.
The Peg has a steel plate in the back. There is foam or something covering it, but when I push down it still feels hard. Is this something kids notice? My 2 yr old is very verbal, but will only sit in these seats for about 10 seconds and I can't get a straight answer out of her.
The Pria crotch buckle button seems stiff and hard to depress. Will it break in after use?
The Pria has two rear facing reclines and the recline adjuster is on the back of the seat. Can I recline it to position 3 while "on the go" if my kids fall asleep without reinstalling it?
How strictly do you adhere to the 40" rule if there is plenty of shell room left? Also, how often does that happen - more than 1 inch of room, but already 40"?
Does the Peg have any extra legroom compared to the Britax or is the rebound bar in Canada what adds the room? I didn't get a very different measurement. The Pria had way more that either of them. The Peg is super wide in the leg area though, about 3" wider than the Pria.
After watching the youtube crash videos and being impressed with the My Ride, Advocate, and Coccoro, it seems to me that a deep shell is more important than internal head wings due to the head flying forward. So I measured all the sides and the Britax has a 9" shell, the Peg 7" and the Pria 6". I guess this only really matters if FF and outboard, but I was curious! In my mind, the extra 3" of foam lined side could really help.
