My best friend just left the father of her tall and heavy 13 months old and they decided he gets to keep their radian. However, she does not have the budget for another radian. Are there cheaper seats that will rf for the longest time possible? I don't know exactly how much baby weighs, but I know he outgrew the snugride 22 by weight at exactly 6 months. He is very tall for his age too.

Could she afford a Graco MyRide?! $140ish on amazon & $170ish from Walmart?
RF to 40lbs & decently tall shell
Dorel ( Cosco,Safety 1st, Eddie Bauer) are cheaper but they only have a 36" standing height limit for RF, the Scenera is even shorter at 32" so if he's tall he may not get much RF time out of one of those seats

Thanks for the reply. I looked for the myride but couldnt find any below 200$ in Canada. Then I came across the new Evenflo SureRide DLX...it seems almost the same as the myride with a much friendlier price tag. Has anyone tried this seat? I'm going to BRU this thursday to try and install it in my car but in the meantime, any insight would be highly appreciated! TIA

The SureRide would be a great option but isn't out in Canada yet, and likely won't be until at least September.

Wow, that's a great price! I haven't been to target yet. I think there is one in Winnipeg... Maybe next time we go I can check it out.
