Ok, so my friend's DD is about 25lbs and she refuses to turn her back rfing, so I'm looking at a few different seats to go in with some other ppl for her b-day, and was hoping you all could help me.

I'm looking at the Scenera, which you all know about.

the Cosco Eddiebauer 2in1 at canadian tire for 149 (don't know if we'll be able to swing the cost though, probably not) here's the link.

or the Cosco Regal rider at canadian tire for $90

I'm sorry if the links don't work, I don't quite know how to do them.
What other affordable seats can you reccomend. I'm thinking we may very well only get $80 or $100 together without stretching people's budgets.

Skip the Eddie Bauer... they have really low top slots.

The Regal Rider is the same as the Scenera.

Other FFing only options would be the following...

Evenflo Bolero - harness to 47lbs, then turns into decent booster ~$130 at Walmart

Evenflo Visons/Chase - harnesses to 47lbs, then turns into okay booster ~$120 at Walmart

If they refuse to turn her around anyway, then the above two options would be your most cost effective in terms of how long they can be used. At 25lbs, the Visions/Chase should tighten down *just enough* to be safe for her. The Bolero would have a little more sleep support for her though.

The Vision is about $70 at TRU so much cheaper than wal-mart.

Yeah, this is what I'd go with. Hopefully her dd is tall enough that it will tighten down properly.

The Eddie Bauer 2in1 has top slots over 1" shorter than the vision/chase, and only goes to 40lbs in harness mode while the evenflo one goes to 47lbs.

If you can get more money together, I'd go with the bolero/generations. 47lbs, higher top slots. Pretty much as high as you'll get without getting a MA, Radian or Apex.
