ok to put rf kid outboard?

I need to do 3 across, I have a nbb (for 9yo DS, I wish I could do hbb), ff convertible (for almost 5yo DD) and rf convertible (for 6mo Dni). Right now I have the rf seat outboard, is that ok? she's so tiny, should she be center? I'm not sure if I can make it work if I put her center, but it kind of worries me that she's outboard, should I be worried?

IMO, the least protected kid (NBB) should be center since RF is so safe.

Yes. Especially since statistically Rfing kids Are more protected. And somehwere here I remember reading that they do better even in Side Impact Crashes than FFers...

I have our new baby outboard. I do 3 across. It's really easy to click her into the van this way. And I like that my FF booster rider (next to her) is in the middle.

In the back we have a RF and FF, both outboard. I had them side by side, but the RF would kick the FF face. That did not work out.

I really wish I could put my DS in the center (nbb), but there's no head rest there, and I can't fit a hbb there and still do 3 across

yup, outboard RF is peachy fine. Whichever position that offers correct seat usage is what is safest.
