This is why the Boulevard is going bye bye

I got the free Boulevard after searching forever to get all of the UPCs and then waiting 8 weeks for it to come. I was so happy when I came and it was love at first sight, until I installed it and put Ds2 in it...now it is being replaced by an Rxt :(

Little one doesn't seem to mind one bit

You might be able to recline it a little more or recline back your vehicle seat for a touch more leg room.

He fell asleep after fighting, kicking the seat, and being mad the whole 20 min ride. He fights when trying to put him in it and doesnt fight getting in his Xtsl. Vehicle seat does not recline, the bottom slopes back pretty steep and the back is very upright. Its an 04 F250 crew cab. I already ordered an Rxt for $151!!

Yeah, they are not the greatest for legroom. I passed our Britax seats down to DD3 since I love them for littles. She still rides in them occasionally, but she mostly rides in a TFP now. She doesn't seem to mind when she's in the Britax except that she's confused why she's in baby sister's seat.

Now where did you find that crazy deal?!

I didnt think it would be any worse than the MA classic he was riding in, guess I was wrong. He wasnt all that happy in the MA but he dealt with it. When putting him in the Xtsl he stretches his legs as soon as you get him in, when putting him in the Britax seats he basically pushes himself up out of the seat when he tries to do it and locks his legs and its hard to get him in:rolleyes:

The Boulevard looks pretty. Too bad. All these new seats and I keep coming back to the Radian myself. But, won't be in need for a year probably, so there's time. Keep 'em coming, I say. Maybe soon, the perfect seat.....

Dd2's doesn't look too comfy. I *love* britax, but im considering getting something else. It seems that there is less leg room when I have it installed in the middle, which is where I want it so I don't knock her out everytime I put her in. She doesn't whine, but it seems like her head is pushed forward.

After having to buy a radian to continue to RF DS3 because he had no leg room in the Marathon I won't even consider the Britax convertibles.

It's too bad, because they totally had a thing going with the tall shells and HWH and awesome covers, and they blew it in their subsequent convertible products.

Wow, he really looks UNhappy! :(

I'm glad my easy going DD was different because we needed to be able to have people ride in our front passenger seat in our smaller vehicle and the next gen convertible allowed for that. She was in it til over 3 (when she'd outgrown it by height) and was so happy riding in it, she still sometimes asks to go back to that. Of course, she's since outgrown every convertible both RF and FFing and there's no way she'd fit ;), but she doesn't realize that and just remembers how comfy it was back then.

Glad you could find something that works for you.

I really wish he at least had the leg room he had in the MA classic. The Blvd has him kinda curled up. It seemed so nice and comfy when it was in the house, he was even climbing in and out of it saying seat so I would guess he liked it, LOL. Seems like it is probably a better forward facing seat.

Looking at the 2 pics I know which one I would be more comfy in!!

I think that varies a lot by car. I don't remember noticing decreased leg room in ours when we moved by then 2yo from the classic (MA) to next gen (RA55). But the Radian was incompatible with our car anyway and we needed the added passenger space. Everyone's situation is different and there's no one fits all solution. I hope it all works out for you.
