Any new info on the britax pinnacle or diono stratofix?

I'm itching to buy DS a new seat for when he outgrows his radian RFing (in the next few months) because I don't love his radian FFing. I'm thinking one of the britax combination seats will likely be what we get (and not overkill for my 97th + percentile child), but may consider the stratofix (although its similarity to the radian makes it a long shot). I am just curious if anyone's seen any new info on these two forthcoming seats -- I've already read the threads on here, just trying to persuade folks with insider knowledge to spill :D

As far as I know...they haven't made any updates to the harness height of the Stratofix. I have not heard anything to that effect, but it would be pretty cool if they made it taller!

Why not the radian for ffing? I am holding out for a new britax too. I heard the new Diono may be a disappointment. Come on car seat makers: 45 lb rfing limits and at least 19-20" slots ffing!!! I've got big kids!

I just spent the last 3 days with Diono. Do not hold your breath for the stratofix.

As in it's not worth the wait or it's not coming any time soon (if you're able to clarify)? I need to buy a seat ASAP and was trying to decide between the Stratofix for my 4-year old and the Next Fit for the baby. If the Stratofix isn't coming out in the next couple months, I guess it'll be the Next Fit...or another Radian if I don't like the Next Fit.

It doesn't install well in the center of my prius and I'm not crazy about the low profile (although that was a selling feature for us RFing).

It's not coming anytime soon. Definitely not in the next few months. It's still in the line up of possible releases, but it's very much in prototype and preproduction mode.

Great, thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. Guess it's on to the Next Fit...
