I found this article on MSN, and I think it might be yet another good tool for us to use in the fight against unsafe used seats. I especially like the part about the bank in England pushing for a law to outlaw the sale of used car seats in England. I wish we had a copy of that report to send to eBay and Craigslist.....

The "exception" part they listed was interesting..

But what about also:

Been handled by an airline
Let a friend borrow
straps have been soaked, or chemicals used on them

etc...

I've always liked Liz Pulliam Weston's advice :thumbsup: Common sense + a calm informative manner

Although, I have to admit, I've purchased 'used' shoes quite a bit for dd during her lifetime. I've also sold them too

But they've always been basically 'almost' new or never worn + brand new.

With young kids, there's a lot of times that they outgrow or the season changes before there's any wear on the interior or exterior. Oh, I've found some "need to get beat up" shoes that there is no way I'd pay good money to get wrecked on purpose.
