I heard from someone that probooster with latch will be coming out... Does anyone know any details? Or even if it's true?

I was wondering about that after I saw this pic on Kids N Cribs ABC Kids Show album on Facebook. It looks like it has been redesigned with built in cupholders and it looks like maybe it has some straps coming out of the back that could possibly be latch?

I haven't heard that, but its European counterpart has a latch option. Given the popularity of latch equipped boosters, it would make sense to bring it over.

If they release that, I'd be ALL over it.

DD loves her Vivo, but would like more leg support. I've stayed away from the Probooster b/c of tipping and b/c DH wants LATCH for the next booster. We're in need of 1-2 more boosters in short order. I hope they release it soon!

Don't get too excited yet. Not sure if they fixed the tippy issue but the way it stands now - the LATCH attachments won't be adjustable (ala The First Years B570 Pathway). So if it is tippy - the LATCH attachments won't help. I'll post pics on the blog when I cover Recaro.

I'm not too familiar with how latch works on booster. Is there only bottom latch or will a top tether be available too? We have a fn85 so I know that one I can top tether in addition to the lower latch connectors.

Well thanks Recaro for killing my hopes and dreams.

I am excited. I love our Recaros.
Not all their seats would have met our needs, but I like them all.
I didn't get the Proride because people here noted it had little leg room (our kids are tall). I didn't get the Probooster because it was said to be tippy.

We have two Prosports we love. One harnessed and one booster mode.
I would be interested in a Probooster but only if it has latch and isn't tippy. For now the Prosport meets all those requirements for my 6-year-old.

We use a Vivo for carpooling and it's great! I don't want latch on that seat.

I sure hope this is true. We have decided this is more than likely the next seat for Ms. Cutie. I hope they are out by spring/summer when it will be booster seat training time. Hopefully they still have the brown/hot pink cover.
