I have an 07 corolla and my son's fn85 is in the center. Soon it is likely going to be blocking my view so I'm going to have to move it over to driver side position(very sad about that). I have side airbags though and I'm concerned it's going to either touch the side or come very close(possibly not go up any higher due to slant in roof). Does anyone have experience with the fn85 in sedans in the outboard position? Any pics would be great too

Side curtain airbags are not a concern next to a carseat.

My Manual stated that carseats must not touch where the air bags cone out and I'm concern it will.
They come out of the ceiling/pillar. The only part that might would be the headrest. I've never heard of an issue with any carseat installed next to any curtain airbag. And as techs we've not been told to be wary of them. I'm uncertain what your car would like you to do then if you cannot use the center. At some point a carseat or a child's head will be pretty high.
