    Most comfortable NBB?

DS is 10 and still in need of a booster, but the Graco backless we're using has maybe 1/4 and inch of padding over the hard plastic shell. It's fine to and from school and activities, etc., but we're going on a road trip next month and will have to spend up to 9 hours in the car. I can't imagine sitting on that thing for so long!

Are there NBB that have more padding? I want it to be as comfortable as possible so he'll be willing to sit in it. I know you're not supposed to add anything to a car seat, and I'm assuming that means foam or padding?

    Thanks!

    Re: Most comfortable NBB?

There are definitely more padded boosters, but they tend to be in the upper end of the price range. You might look at the Diono Santa Fe and the Clek backless boosters, both of which have some nice padding on them, if he's still fine in the TurboBooster as far as leg support etc. and just needs a little more bum padding! You definitely want to find one he's comfortable with as-is, not add extra padding. Although, come to think of it, I THINK there are higher-end TurboBoosters that come with their "GracoPedic foam" padding- I'm thinking I've seen them at Sears? So it might be possible to look on Graco's website, find a model (either high back and just order the bottom pad, or backless) with GracoPedic foam in the padding on the seat cushion, and order that for your current booster, instead. (Just copy the model number and make up a date of manufacture to access the "buy spare parts" part of the Graco site- which is http://www.gracobaby.com by the way- and you should be able to order the padding if they have it in stock.)

While it isn't padded, my 12 yo likes the harmony cruz. It has leg support which makes it more comfortable. Otherwise, there is a graco pedic version of the turbo. Just find the pad (swap maybe?) and stuff it under the cover.

My DD says the Harmony Cruz is "way" more comfortable than her other boosters.

I'll have to check out the Santa Fe though, because she says it's still hard.

My boys love the Evenflo Amps. We have done plenty of 24 hour drives back and forth to FL this year
