What to take on the plane?

We will be flying in November and I'm not sure what seat to take for DD to use on the airplane?
DD will be 3 in Dec. She will FF on the plane and we cannot use her seat once we get to our destination so I'm only needing it for the plane.
I have MR65, GN, or CA65 to choose from, but I'm not against getting another seat if it will be easier to haul thru the airport and install. We will have a BJCM also if that matters at all.

Of those I'd probably take the Complete Air.

How is the CARES harness used? I'm sure that's a dumb question.

Not a dumb question at all. There is one strap that goes around the back of the seat. Attached to that are two shoulder straps. The shoulder straps have loops on the ends. You thread the plane's lap belt through the loops to create a four point harness.

How tall and heavy is she?

Oh ok! That sounds really neat! She is around 32lbs and 34", give or take a little (I can't remember her exact stats, but she is right at 50% height and weight

I'm flying in November with my 3-year-old and will be using a CARES harness. Definitely look into it!

Just keep in mind that there is no crotch strap and the CARES harness does not tighten the lap belt. Also, the child has access to the belt, so if they're the kind who will sit and unbuckle it constantly it's not a good choice.
