We have an 03 Ford E150 with all captains chairs. We've got 6 back seats (2, 2 and 2) and 6 kids. Three in carseats, 2 in boosters and one who doesn't need a booster anymore (12 yo, 95 lbs, 5 feet tall). We have one seating position which is a lap belt only. That's where I put our baby who is almost 1 yo. Our infant seat intalled just fine there. Got a Britax Boulevard for him to rear face in same position. I can get it rock solid by pushing the female end into the belt path, but it doesn't quite lay flat in there (almost does). If I twist the female end just "three" times, the buckle rests on the steel bar on the side and I'm afraid that's not right. I can twitst the female end about 8 times and it is out of the way of the steel bar, but I'm afraid that is too many times. Two kids need boosters so they can't go in that seating position. My oldest 12 yo could, but I'm not sure lap belt only is good for her. Any advice? Is 8 times too many to twist? I'm sure it is. Is getting it "almost" flat into the belt path good enough? I could take pics, but I'm tired right now (installing car seat about 6 times, trying to get it right.) Not taking a trip for a couple of days.
Thanks for any help.
