Why do we trust NBD car seats?

Just got my prosport. They retaped the box like crazy but everything was in perfect place tags still attached. Better than that, it's a 3/30/12 Dom!!!

I was worried for a second there too. Did you get your return label? I received an email for one and I'm not returning.

ok, not living under a rock, but I never usually check the shopping forum, just the coffee break forum, see that it's nobetterdeal....but hadn't heard much about the site so the initials weren't ringing a bell.

sorry to revive a real old thread, but I recently purchased something from NBD and it was a return from Amazon because I could see that old shipping label's corner. As a prolific amazon buyer and returner, I was able to pull another amazon box and see the addresses matched. So I did get worried that someone could have just return a used or crashed carseat to Amazon or that somehow it had been damaged with all the transit to/from amazon and then to/from nbd. The seat itself brand and clearly unused. Also, the DOM was very recent. I ended up having to buy a seat from BRU because the NBD didn't arrive in time. and the BRU box had a Britax shipping label too. How do we know that the transit from Britax to BRU was any smoother? How do we know that the stockpeople at BRU didn't bump them around? I think at a certain point it's a leap of faith and you just have to use your best judgment and senses when you see the item and package.
