1995 Mazda MPV and tether bolts

I know they don't come with the bolts, but how hard/expensive is it to get them installed? Considering buying this vehicle. We only need 1 tether point.

(we're in Alberta)

That's the minivan, yes? LATCH Manual lists 5 possible seating positions (sort of) with a TA:
- either 3 in the 3rd row (outboard or center)
OR
- 2 in the 2nd row (outboard only) *BUT* the 2nd row uses the 3rd row locations so the 3rd row needs to be folded down to use them, and you need a pretty long tether strap.

The TAs need to go in the floor of the cargo area behind the 3rd row (mentions weld nuts in the floor?), and for the '95 the part number is LA01-57-77X. Not sure what (or if any) program Mazda had for retrofits, but you could call a dealer near you and ask how much it would be to order that part, and then ask how much it would be to install it. Typically retrofits are fairly simple and quick (few minutes of work) but I can't be sure on this one, hopefully someone else has a batter idea.

I'm not sure what Mazda charges but I would suggest calling the dealership to see if it's still possible to get a retrofit done. Some older vehicles it's no longer possible to get the retrofit kits.

I know that the MPV has some funky seatbelt stalks in some model years that make it not completely carseat friendly, so you will want to try your car seats in there first before making a final decision.
