Question Eddie Bauer Convertible?

Hello!
I am looking at buying an Eddie Bauer convertible from a friend and was wondering if anyone might know what model it would be, and the expiry? She said she bought it in 2009. I haven't seen it in person so I'm not sure anything else about it.

You'll need the Dom to determined the Exp date. The first thing I noticed though is the straps look to be twisted. I would consider buying new straps if you do purchase this seat. Personally I'd buy a new seat all together.

Yes. How old is the child and what is their age and weight?
My cousin just bought a maestro to get rid of the seat pictured. Straps twist awful and it's a pain to install.

auto correct hates me

Also consider that as of Jan 1/12 health canada made it illegal to buy/sell/loan/advertise seats that do not meet 2012 CMVSS testing. The 2012 compliant version of the seat pictured above is designed quite differently. It's a somewhat safe bet the seat pictured above does not meet 2012 standards. Still safe for use by the original owner (barring recalls, missing parts, etc) but is not legal to purchase/acquire second hand. To confirm this, please contact the manufacturer.

Hopefully someone will come along with a link about this. I'm swamped right now.

Not a tech here, just a parent... I used to have the cosco version of that seat (IIRC they are the same except the covers) and I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. The twisty straps alone were enough to drive me batty. My inlaws have the same seat too and I don't know how they have put up with it for so long.
I personally wouldn't buy any seat used, but I wouldn't even buy that particular seat new.
There are other options that are very economical that would be far better.

I will be using it for a back up seat, and also for in our side by side when we chase cows so it doesn't need to be super user friendly as it won't be used often! Thanks for the heads up though!

For $68 you can get a brand new Cosco Scenera that has the same top harness slot measurement and harnessing weight limit as the Eddie Bauer you posted. Just a friendly FYI. :)
