Convertible car seat for rental car

Hi, we don't have a car and intend to use the Zipcar (rental car) once in a while when needed. I would love some recommendations on a convertible car seat which is easy to install in a rental car. Baby is 1 year old, 17lbs and 27". TIA

I have a Tribute and it is really easy to install and light.

I don't have one, but I know they're always recommending the Safety 1st Scenera for travel on here

Costco.ca has them for $100.

I would say a Britax Marathon/Boulevard, which ever you prefer. It RF to 40lbs/FF to 65lbs.

Its compact, installs in almost any vehicle very easily and should not require pool noodles for the RF recline. It should last you little one till a minimum of 2yrs old Rear Facing, if not longer (Ideally you want to RF till limits of the seat).
