I asked on FB since I have the seat on preorder and amazon asked if I want to continue to wait... The First Years responded that the release date is now Fall this year. We'll see, though.

Somebody needs to call Kids-n-cribs and ask if its really available February 2012. I'll order it today if they magically have some in stock.

I'll call myself- they say they open at 10, but i'm guessing that is Pacific time? Which is 1pm where I am.

Wow I forgot this was supposed to come out. I'm needing 2 new seats for my son and this one would be a nice alternative to the frontier I was planning on for my car. My kid is about 43 lbs at almost 5, so I don't need 85 lbs harness weight. He has plenty of room in the Maestro but the rattling is killing me (and I don't like the new buckles on the securekid very much). I hope the harness is 18"+ and it actually hits the streets by summer/early fall!

I totally wanted this seat back when I bought Aidan's FR85. Glad I didn't wait. I still really want to play with one, hopefully they eventually come out.

Hey ladies!

I got voice mail for Kids n Crib. Therefore, I called Superior Carseats--didn't know it was Kids n Crib as well! She said that she just sent out an ETA for the seat and the internet will be updated tomorrow with the arrival date.

The website gives these dimensions: Size (LxWxH / WT):
24.00 " x 19.50 " x 27.50 " / 19.25 lbs

I'm curious to know if it will also be released in Canada.

I hope it comes out early fall. I have 3 carseats that expire this fall and am looking at this as a replacement for one of them. I hope it has a cushy seat bottom and doesn't push heads forward. I love their True Fit and true fit premiers. Anybody know how tall it may go?

I read it goes to 19" but that was awhile back. I suppose they could have made changes since then.
