BJCM single ~to keep or not to keep?

I have two little boys (2.5 years and 2 months) and currently have a Valco Trimode with joey seat , Chicco umbrella stroller , and a Snugride stroller frame. Was in BRU yesterday and saw a 2011 BJCM in crimson in the clearance section in a new unopened/undamaged box. I didn't believe the price at first, $95 + an additional 30% off, but the salesperson confirmed it. So for $70 I went home with a stroller I have heard great things about, but really no need for it. Although I do love new baby gear! So hubby approved keeping it because he liked the way it folded and the color, but I'm wondering if I will reallly get use out of it. It is only a little lighter than my Valco, is only a single (although I mostly babywear the little guy), and do I really need another stroller?

So I guess my question is to those that have a BJCM, do you love it enough that you think I should keep it?

I'm not familiar with the other strollers you have, but I have the exact same BJCM (down to the color!) And I love mine.

I decided to sell mine to get something "better" and I deeply regret it! So KEEP it! It's such an awesome stroller, lightweight, easy fold, large seat, and the push is amazing even with a 45lb kid!

I would keep it. Having a single stroller is nice, and if you don't like the Chicco you'll probably wind up getting rid of that. In a couple of years your older DS is going to want to walk half the time and there will be times when your double will be just too big for where you're going. ;)

KEEP IT! $65.50?! And you are even considering taking it back? Seriously? Don't do it! Definitely keep it! :) (And be thankful for how lucky you got. ;))

It offers a lot of nice features, is comfortable for both passenger and driver, and has a really nice compact fold. And when the stitching started to come apart just a little bit right at the foot rest where it gets the most wear (at almost one year old), I contacted BJ customer service and they exchanged for a new set of skins (sending me the new ones first).

It sounds like you don't like your Chicco anyway, so sell that one, and your stroller frame will only last as long as the infant car seat, whereas my tall 3.5 yo is still happily riding in the BJCM (although not as often these days since she likes to walk too, but still sometimes requests her stroller :)).

I don't know the trimode, but does it offer the same great fold? Because that is one big advantage of the BJCM. It fits in our small trunk leaving lots of room for other things, even groceries. It folds even smaller if you pop off the wheels, something I never bother with, but like to know it's an option if I needed to.

Keep in mind, you could resell it for more than you paid, so if you try it and decide it's not for you, there's really no risk. I hope this helps!

Forgot to say regarding it being a single, my kids are closer in age than yours and I used a single way more than I ever used a double. I found it even more important to have good single strollers with two kids because I needed something easy to push one handed while holding my toddlers hand.

For that price, I'd keep it in a heartbeat! I love my BJCMD but if I found a single one for that cheap I'd get it and replace the Zooper Twist I have. I love my Zooper too, but not as much as I love the BJ!

Well, we are keeping it! I actually can't believe how cheap I got the stroller for and am glad I jumped on it before someone else did. Took it out today for the first time and my 2.5 rode great in it. He usually likes to walk, but he was loving the HUGE canopy keeping the wind out of his face. And I'm going to love that huge canopy this summer keeping the sun off my little guy. It folds sooo easy and much smaller than my Valco, although my trimode will remain my "first true love" of all my strollers! Thanks everyone for your opinions!
