I am heading to Walmart at 8 for the 9 opening, for pjs for river. Now that I know they pricematch, I will pricematch the hex bug doorbuster at ToysRus. Then I am heading to Aafes with my camping chair and cooler and iPod and will wait for the 4 am opening to get legos and hero factories 50% off. Then home before the kids wake up. I haven't been able to do this in over 3 years so I am super excited!

In the past, we have, but this year we're REALLY focusing on the bare minimum, so we won't be participating as actively. We live near a Kohl's that isn't allowed to open until 9am due to a noise ordinance, so we are going there because we need a new blender and have enough discounts to make it free (it's $22.99, comes with a $10 rebate, and we have a $10 off purchase coupon AND 15% off). and my brother is buying DD a Barbie set that is $15 there. After we might swing by Target to see what's there because DS's birthday is next Tues. But it's not like we NEED anything.

There's no way I'd even consider fighting crowds for a good deal. Honestly, I haven't seen any deals (that I thought I actually could get) that might make it worthwhile. So I'll stay home and cross my fingers that the kids will let me sleep in. :p

Last year, DD and I did go to Children's Place Outlet and Target late in the afternoon. I might do that again tomorrow - last year the Children's Place Outlet had 50% off their sale prices (so I got school uniforms for both big kids for $2.50 each, even jumpers!) and Target had some decent headphones for $5 - we go through a lot of them, so if they have them again I'll buy a dozen. But, Children's Place has 30% of this year (not sure about the outlet stores) and my cousin got me a pair of GREAT $50+ headphones for $4 (he works for Harman International), and I'm not sure I can go back to the cheap ones now.

That's not to say that I won't partake in the online sales, however! I bought a KitchenAid mixer from Kohls this morning (thanks to a deal that Scatterbunny posted on FB), a Kinect game from Gamestop, and two Nintendo 3DS kits (case, car charger, etc) for $9.99 w/free shipping from Best Buy. I may order a 3DS from Target.com tomorrow after I deposit DH's check - we're planning to get DS one for Christmas, and I don't think I could do better than $145.
