FF seat for airplane

Going on a 3 hour flight with my 44lb 5yo tomorrow. Should I take the Nautilus or the Frontier? I'm not sure what type of car we'll have when we get there. Both can be installed on the plane, right?

Thinking about the buckle on the plane... isn't it uncomfortable for the kids? Does the buckle dig into their back?!?!

I'd take the Nautilus. It's FAA approved with the harness in. My older daughter never minded the buckle behind her.

I have a Maestro also, but I'm not crazy about it and I want to avoid bringing it on this trip.

Nautilus or Frontier (80 or 85)?

Any help/tips/thoughts appreciated. TIA! :)

I'd definitely take the Maestro. You could not pay me enough to fly with a FR. I'm not a fan of the GN, so if I had a Maestro, I'd for sure take that instead.

I wouldn't want to sit next to a Frontier. I'd take the Maestro first, but if you don't like it, take the Nautilus.
