Reputation- 1x per day?

I've only rep'd one person in 24 hours. As far as I am aware I also haven't thanked anyone. I was going to rep someone and it told me I've given too much reputation in the last 24 hours? Is it limited to once a day?

I checked the settings and it should be two per 24 hour period. Thanks effectively count as reputation, so any Thanks given in that period would subtract from the 2 rep clicks.

Edit: it appears you gave one thanks and one rep this afternoon. If you want to PM me I can give you more information in case one was a mistake. I can't remove individual Thanks, but I can still remove one if it is the only one for a post. I can also remove a reputation click if absolutely necessary.

I wish I could offer rep more often. I'm forever trying to and having the box pop up. I do thank a lot though.

Anyway, no point. Just that I'd love to give more rep.
