Mine were really cool and didn't mind at all when I brought in one or two things to show them--like an example of a booster that can be latched and the pics of my little preemie coming home in his car seat.

Argue? What's that?
My instructors in Sandy in March were great! There are a couple old guy cpsts who are up to date with everything and know a lot. If the regular instructors ever say anything contrary to what you know, you can talk to them.
ETA- I just realized, my course was in Murray, not Sandy. I have a hard time keeping some cities straight when they are all "out there".

Yeah the instructors were pretty cool. I was amazed at the variety of seats they had. I just wanted to play with them all! I was just a little disappointed that everyone there is from the health/ fire/ law enforcement except for me. I was hoping to meet more crazy carseat people like myself. I also cannot believe how many people were just confused about seatbelt types. But I had a GREAT time listening to people talk about car seats for 4hours.
