Combos that make good boosters ?

What other combo seats make good boosters?

So, I visited my local BRU this morning. So now I have a few combo seat questions. Does the E3 make a good booster? Does the Symphony make a good booster, does the Rumi Air make a good booster? Just wondering if there are other options for people besides the Nauti and the FR85. Thank you.

The E3 and the Symphony are the same thing (the new ones are the E3 Symphony). They make fine boosters, but short. Petite Piper outgrew it at six years old.

The Rumi makes an ok booster, but it requires support from the car to the level of the eyes behind it.

There are reasons the Nautilus and Frontier (and the Maestro and Recaro ProSport) are the ones usually recommended. The Evenflo Maestro is a short, but good booster.

I always though Maestro didn't make a good booster.

I guess I was under the impression the Meastro was usually a good fit but just didn't last very long (after the harness was outgrown) since the headrest/shoulder belt guide isn't height adjustable. Is that correct?

I am really excited about the Secureride seats!

ETA- I think its supposed to be Secure Kid, as opposed to Secureride...

That's correct. I did find the Maestro difficult to use correctly, as you had to really work to get the belts down and under the belt guides.

I don't recommend the Rumi Air (AKA Essential Air) because of the ridiculous angle you have to install the seat in harnessed mode. When you put the child in, their feet are sticking out so my petite 3yo took up significantly more room front to back than an infant seat. There was no way I could drive in front of her, not if she wanted to actually keep her feet.

Thx. :) And I have wondered if it would be difficult to get the belt in the guides properly since they seem pretty nestled in. We are years from boosters here, so I have never seen the Maestro as a booster IRL.
