Okay, okay, so a Turbo isn't that exciting, but it is for somebody that doesn't have anyone of booster age in her house.
Yesterday, our neighbor's 16 year old son rear-ended someone in town, putting Dad's truck out of commission for a few days. Son and Dad had to be at a different church this morning, in a town about an hour and 1/2 away, so this left Mom and 2 daughters (ages 13 and 5) with no ride to church this morning. Why they all just couldn't go to the other church, I don't know.
ANYWAY, I found out from talking to this mom a while back that 5.5 year old was still in her harnessed seat- I am 99% sure it's just a Cosco highback, so 45lb kid in a seat with a 40lb weight limit, and definitely over the top slots. I told mom to get a new seat before she went in the car again, or at least convert that one to a booster in the mean time. She didn't, of course.
So she tells me today that she still hasn't gotten a booster for her. I offer to let her either ride harnessed in Gage's ProSport (and let him use the TF) or in the Harmony backless that Gage uses as a table booster. She chose the Harmony. I told her I needed to get some things at Target anyway, did she want to go look at boosters after church with me? She said sure!
She immediately went to this TB and said "is this the right one? I love this one!" Ten seconds and the thing was in the cart. I told her I'd just take it home with me this afternoon and put it together for them (yay TB screws!) and just have it in my car for her this afternoon.
