Question Skinny like A Radian, but cheaper than a Radian?

What else is available in the Canadian market that is skinny like a Radian, but not as pricey? I'm thinking CA, but how does the Maestro compare too? Need a seat for a 41", 40lb 4.5yo.

Doesn't sound like you are looking for smaller/RF seats, but the Scenera and its cousins are narrow (lists at 17.75" in the Measurements forum). The CA is listed at 18.5" and the Radian at 17.25".

For combo seats, the Graco Cargo is narrow as well - listed as 17.5". The Maestro is listed at 18.75" and the Generations at 18.5".

Are you doing 3across? What do you need to puzzle with?

3 across in a 07 Caravan. Problem being DCP doesn't want to move RF MR to centre position. So she has MR, LB TB and I think classic BV. But she's been told yesterday by the mom of the kid moving into the TB that she can keep the Scenara, so its not an issue for me per se,

The kid moving from the Scenera to the TB is JUST 4yo. Mom and Dad are pushing the booster, me (mine's 4.5yo) ya not a chance even though the DCP has "suggested" I go the booster route. Maybe next year

My first thought was a Graco Platinum Cargo. Sears has them. I think $160.

Much easier to install than a Radian, and also much easier to tighten and loosen. Harnesses up to 48 pounds, and because it's a fairly upright seat you tend to get the full 17" out of the top slots. Makes a crappy booster, but that's typical of so many combo seats.
