Rear facing bracing/touching front seat?

I know I've read that Britax's can be braced when rear facing against the front seats but can any other car seats? I have an 18 month old son and I'm pg with twins so we are trying to figure out how to fit them all in my '01 Durango. We had the Britax Blvd forward facing in the middle and put the Graco snugride on each side (and got good installs on all) but I'm just wondering how far back I can put my drivers seat. Can it touch the snugride a little or not at all? TIA!!!

I believe the gracos can touch slightly. Not press against, the front seats can't impede their movement, but they can gently touch. Check the manual.

How heavy is your 18 month old? Unless he's quite heavy he should still be RFing. You have a great seat with a 33 pound RFing limit. It's safer for him to be RFing until 33 pounds.

Only Evenflo infant seats CAN'T touch. Check your car manual though, sometimes they don't like things touching, if you have advanced airbags that have weight sensors in the sats.
