I am so super excited and DH just rolls his eyes at me. I knew you guys/girls would understand my positive energy about getting new car seats/covers-and how I did it
I got a killer of a deal on a cowmoo frontier for dd (who will be 4 in a month and is amazingly gaining weight for the first time in months-however not growing or looking like it (I honestly don't know where she's putting it so I'm assuming that means she's gearing up for a growth spurt soon, but if not she still fits-just on the lower end) I got the cowmoo for $176
Then, I was able to find an AWESOME cover for dd's classic MA, Freedom, which I will then pass down to ds so I can sell his Radian and give his MA70 back to MIL who technically is the one who owns that seat.
AND to top off all my excitement, it looks like my step-mother's step-daughter is willing to borrow us her cowmoo chaperone for new baby Sprout when the time comes. (her little guy will be just over 6 mos. when she is excitedly looking forward to moving him up to the cowmoo MA that she got for him at her baby shower) I keep trying to convince her that it's possible, especially when winter comes to WI, that she'll want to keep the chaperone as a back-up for when the bitter cold hits and then no matter how heavy he and the seat will be to take in and out she may find it nice to be able to bundle/unbundle him inside instead of having to monkey with his coat or a poncho or something to get the straps next to him safely. I think it might just be an excitement on her part to move him up to the next step (even though she plans to ERF him in the MA) KWIM?
So for three seats-a heard of cows and an american flag, I will have basically paid nothing. B/c I should hopefully be able to sell the RN locally for what I paid for the F85. And I'll be able to sell my Ashley cover set with the pads for what I paid, or near what I paid, for my new Freedom set. I'm so excited I'm jumping inside along with the baby in my womb :cool!:
