Car seat for trip

Hello, I am looking into buying a high back booster to use on arrival with a car rental (don't trust the quality of the one's supplied by the car rental companies). I have been able to rent 2 Britax Marathons for my younger girls (1 and 4 years), from a local baby gear rental company. For my 6 year old, could you suggest a seat that is save, latchable in car and lighter & compact for travel? I have read positive reviews on the Graco Turbo Booster, am looking at the The First Years Compass Pathway B570. Any opinion or ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

What is your one year old riding in on the plane? A one year old won't fit in the lap belt, and an unrestrained baby is unsafe for them and for those around you.

The Turbo isn't LATCHable, but it'd be high on my list. Also look at the Harmony Lite Rider. Not LATCHable, but narrow and lightweight and cheap.

I wouldn't trust ANY rental seat. Do you trust every person who has used the seat that they didn't get in a fender bender three times, or that their kids didn't puke in it and therefore the rental company bleached the straps? I would bring your four year old's seat on board, as well as your one year old's (who needs their own ticket).

For what you will pay to rent seats with unknown history and care, you could almost certainly purchase a pair of Scenera's, or a Scenere and a Maestro.

I'd look at the Turbo for your 6-yr old - it's lightweight and fits little ones nicely.l
