I emailed my office manager to be sure she was aware of the changed AAP recommendations (I work in an ob/gyn office, but she manages a peds office as well) and offered to provide some education if needed.
She emailed back to say that yes, they were aware and the doctors would be talking to patients about it. She also asked if I knew of a chart that they could print to hang in the exam rooms that says to rear-face to 30 lbs "since that's the new recommendation" I have no idea where she got 30lbs from
So does anyone have some good links of printouts to hang in the exam rooms and maybe also a link to the official AAP statement to print off for her? I'd search myself, but am suffering from a major sinus headache and unruly 3 year old and don't have the time or energy to be on the computer.
