Lock-Tight chest clip safe?

Is the lock-tight chest clip from Sunshine Kids safe? Would be put on a Radian XT.
Would anyone recommend it?
It says it's super strong and helps position harness straps correctly, on the website.
Just curious.
But, do you have to take the whole seat out to install this device?

Yeah, that'd be fine to go on a Radian. That's what comes on new seats.

Is the Radian rear-facing or forward-facing? If it's rear-facing, you probably don't have to uninstall the seat to put the chest clip on. You could reach around behind the seat, undo the straps from the splitter plate, pull the straps through to the front of the seat and put the clip on (and remove the old one), then reattach the straps. It's best to do one at a time to keep track of what slots you were using. If the seat is forward-facing, you'd have to uninstall the seat to access the splitter plate.

Did the chest clip that came with your seat break? Just wondering if that's why you're replacing it. If your old chest clip isn't broken but you're having a problem with the harness straps being properly placed, let us know what the issue is so that we can try to help.
