Britax Parkway, my deal of the day!

We were checking out this overstock store today for some beds for our 3 soon to be arriving children and no beds but they had a car seat section so I had to check them out. They had 2 Parkways in the gray color, and 5 Roundabouts. They were all new, in original packaging with original labels, booklets...etc. The only thing was one Parkway was manufactured in November 2004 and the other was April 2006. But the best thing....45.00!!!!

So I bought one Parkway, too bad they didn't have any Marathons...but I'm going to check back.

So is this a good deal considering it's a year past Mfr date? I know they say they last 6 years, but I just couldn't pass up that savings. Hope I wasn't silly for buying it. Getting 3 children at once is a bit hard on the budget so we're trying to save here and there while still getting good products. Hope I did good :)

Sound like a GREAT deal, IT was HALF price for 1/6 of the life of the seat!

What overstock store were you looking at? I am searching for a couple of roundabouts at the moment??

I can't find my ticket/receipt....I know I had it in my purse LOL But it was in Chattanooga, TN (the guy said there was one in Dalton, GA) too. Uggghhh, I got up again and searched the car for that darn receipt and I can't find it anywhere. I did pay with my credit card though so I will have to see if it post a name. If not, as I said, I'm checking in with them next week too and I'll get the name of it...just in case you're close to Chattanooga :) They had 2 FL Seminole ones, a flowery covered one (not sure of the names) and a Cheetah print and a plain gray color. We're looking for a Marathon though, so I didn't check the Roundabouts too well....although still new in packaging with all attached paperwork.

Okay, the place is called Price Busters (or that was what is on the shirt of the workers LOL). My sister in law had lunch with us today and she was with me yesterday while I was shopping and she remembered this :)

I'm not sure where the one in Dalton is, maybe calling information would get you an address? The one in Chattanooga is actually in East Ridge (Ringgold Road) just a bit off the freeway (I75).

Hope those of you near here can find the car seats you want :)

That's an awesome deal. I need to go find that store. I sure didn't expect this thread to be about a local store in my hometown. LOL Are you sure it wasn't Big Lots? I've heard of them having super cheap carseats before and I can't find a Price Busters yellow pages listing.

It's a brand new store from my understanding, they've only been there a few weeks. You'll need to call directory assistance since they wouldn't be in the most recent published phone book :)

Hope you find what you're looking for. They had quite a few strollers too...but not the brand/kind I wanted :(

Looked it up online, here is the phone number and address :) They just got a business license on April 17th, so they are fairly new.
