Switch to booster mode?

I'm debating whether or not to switch my 7yr old (47", 53lbs) to booster mode in his FR85. He does ride in a HBB Turbo in dad's truck, but not as often. He is mature enough, it's just me wondering if the harness is at all better  Opinions?

There are no studies saying that one is better than the other. If he doesn't care I might leave him, if he's asking to be switched I'd switch him. That's when I switched my older daughter.

if he's mature enough, then it's whatever you and your child prefer.

if not complaining and still fitting, there's no reason to move him unless you and/or he want to.
