I got the actual part # for GM tethers!

I went to the Chevy dealership today to order a tether for my mom's Malibu. I brought the TSB with me, which is a good thing because the guy had no idea what I was talking about .

Anyways, I got the reciept here and it's official part # is 12453386. I googled it and you can actually buy it online from several different websites.

I hope someone finds this helpful! :)

The reason we give out the bulletin number rather than the part is that the part number changes too often to keep track of. So that may not be the part number next week, or it may be for the next year.

It IS a good thing, and I'm thrilled you thought of it. But apparently the number changes too often for the LATCH manual to feel comfortable printing it, and instead they give us the bulletin number. Your number may help someone in the new few weeks get their tethers much more easily than they would have. But it may also be obsolete in a month.
