Question Britax Parkway SGL sale in Canada (Toronto)

I apologize for posting in this forum, but I've forgotten my password and attempts to retrieve it have been unsuccessful. Despite typing in the image verification code a dozen times, I can't seem to get it right.

I'm looking to buy a Britax Parkway SGL booster seat. Naturally I refuse to pay full price ($169.95) and the only store I can find that carries it in my area (Baby Safety Superstore) tells me that Britax determines when their sales are.

These forums have the most knowledgeable informed folks I know. Has anyone heard of these going on sale in Canada, specifically the Toronto area? My little guy is outgrowing his Frontier and it's time to move up. To stress, it's the SGL (not SG) that I'm most interested in.

I moved this to the Canadian and International section where you're likely to get more location specific input about vendors near you rather than leaving your post in its original location in the main Carseats section of the forum.

Are you passing down the Frontier to another child? Is there another reason why you wouldn't just use the Frontier in booster mode? It can also be latched in booster mode, and can be retrofitted with a SG clip. As far as I know, the Britax seats don't go on sale often and I have got the impression (not sure though) that timing is mandated by Britax.

Yes on both (use the Frontier as a booster if it's not passed down and yes that Britax dictates the prices and the timing of the sale. There was one I think last month)

Thank you for your responses. Yes, I will be passing the Frontier down to my younger son. It hadn't occurred to me to use it in booster mode in the mean time! I figure we have a couple more months left in the Frontier before my older son's height is too tall.

I really like the LATCH feature in the Parkway SGL. Thanks to your brilliant suggestions, I'll look into the LATCH feature with the Frontier in booster mode.
