Best Carseat to fit in small car

Hi -
Thanks in advance for your help! My sweet baby is growing out of his newborn car seat (20lbs, in a 25lbs max seat). We need, I guess, a toddler seat that can ride rear facing in my husband's 2010 Ford Focus. The car is small, and our goal is to make the car seat fit as comfortably as possible and to ease getting Henry in and out of the car. We don't have any other car seats, and I anticipate putting the seat in the middle of the back seat. We'd like to keep him rear facing as long as possible. We're willing to spend $200ish on a new seat depending on how long it would last. Any suggestions as to what is the best thing to buy would be appreciated. Thanks!

Double check your infant seat. None go to 25 pounds. It's either 22, 30, 32, 33, or 35 pounds.

I haven't put too many convertibles in the Focus, but I've heard it's very carseat friendly. Remember, he can sit more upright than 45 degrees, so nearly anything should fit.

Graco MyRide and Safety 1st Complete air, The First Years True Fit and Sunshine Kids Radian 65SL are a few good seats that are under $200 that should fit in a focus pretty well, and will get you a pretty good amount of RFing time, depending on your sons age, height and weight.

The MyRide and the Complete air are available at Babysrus stores (as well as Walmart and Target) but the True fit and Radian are pretty much only found online.

I really like the MyRide personally, but it all depends on what fits your baby, and your needs!
