Evenflo Maestro Akane...is the piping red?

It looks like this color is coming to the US. Is the piping red? It looks alternately red, fuchsia, or orange on my different screens. Thanks!

I saw that...it made me even more confused! I think the piping probably is red because the color looks the same as the red part of the crotch buckle, but I was hoping for some true life confirmation.

The $99 is the sale price - it's regular $129 and that's one of our cheapest seats.

Is that the same pattern they have been carrying all along? I had one very briefly (returned it) and I am almost positive it was in fact a nice red. I can easily see it fading to something else in sunlight, though.

If it's the colour they had in September, it's RED a very nice red. They only had one colour, I'll check if it's on the box/book, I don't remember ever seeing a colour written on it, there was no choice.

It's a really nice colour red/black/grey.

And, yes the colour is ridiculous! It grates on my nerves that we have to have that Canadian flag sticker on our seats when they are almost double the price...

Great sale at TRU this week though, $204 for the MA.

Thanks everyone!

I have a red-obsessed boy that will be SO happy to finally have something, anything red (although he'd prefer the whole seat was red, like the Parkway SGL in crimson, but that isn't happening for a few years). He really covets red shoes, but those are remarkably hard to find for boys in his size.

Red's my favorite color! I would have been excited when I was young enough to ride in a seat to get a red one and if I had a kid that needed/could be harnessed I'd love to get a red seat! The Evenflo Chase comes in a pattern that really red but it only goes to 40 lbs:(
