So why the smiles???

Well, read on!

I put my 2.5 year old FF in his TF today, so Grandma wouldn't have to be eating her knees while we were out. 99% of the time he's still RF, but on occasion I do make the decision to switch. It's never a permanent thing, I always go back to RF. Anyhow......As I put him in his car seat to go pick Grandma up, he started twisting his torso around. I couldn't figure out what he was doing, then he said to me.........

"no go dis way"

Yay!!!!!! Proof he actually PREFERS rear facing!!!!!

Now my 39lb 4.5 year old is begging me to sit like his brother, rear facing, he's been asking for some time, but my RN that he sits in goes to 40lbs RF and is a crummy rf install in my vehicle anyway........

Just thought I'd share!

My 5 year old only just recently started to prefer FF, but I suspect it's because she's in a booster 25% of the time and prefers a booster to a harness :) Otherwise, up until well into 4 she was happier rear-facing.
