Why is there a top harness slot for that can only be used for boostering?!?! You don't use the harness for booster so isn't this one redundant?

I agree that it doesn't make sense -- but it's a headrest setting as well as a harness setting, which is why it's there for booster mode.

It's not a harness slot, it's a headrest position.

Because there's only one harness slot, that moves with the headrest, and the headrest has to be in the top slot (of the backrest) for boostering. They've improved it in the last 1.5 years or so, most you CAN use the top slots now, if the seat goes to 50 pounds FF it's ok.

Was having a blond moment about it being for the headrest.

Just had to move DS #2 to last harnessed position so I hope he does not grow too fast I was hoping to pass DS#1's seats down when we start boostering (not in an AOE).
