I am looking for yet another seat for my little one:) He just turned 2, is 34 pounds and currently RF in a true fit. I don't have his torso height but he would be on the 3rd harness slot on the true fit should I move him FF as he is on the second slot RF. I would ideally like to keep him RF in the main car and can move the true fit to the second car (no seat in there currently for him as he is still RF)to be used FF when he turns 35 pounds. I also have a generations that he could use FF but I just don't want to as it is not as comfy looking as the true fit.

What would you suggest for him? I am in Canada...

For RFing over 35lbs your options are the Graco My Ride (40lbs RF; 65FF), Safety First Complete Air (40RF; 50FF) and the Sunshine Kids Radian (3 models, 1 RF to 40lbs, 2 RF to 45lbs; all 3 FF to 65).

What do you drive?

I drive an 09 santa fe and need to install behind the passenger seat as I have either a parkway or monterey booster behind the driver. It also cannot be any bigger RF than the true fit otherwise there won't be space for me if DH is driving (I am short so get the leg room compromised seat).

I was thinking about the complete air as my kids are tall but there is another thread saying the RF height is 36 in and we are there already.

Do you think a radian would fit without making the passenger seat completely useless???

I think the Radian would fit if you could get it quite upright. I have a RFing Radian in my Honda Civic (passenger side). I'm 5'10" with a 34" inseam and I have plenty of leg room because the seat installs pretty upright. You could check out the Successful Radian Install thread to see if anyone has a Radian in the Santa Fe or if you can, I'd really suggest going to a store that carries it and trying it out.
