My Volo came...

and while I really like it's manueverability and lightness, I am not sure how I feel about the fabric after all, it seems so stiff for a mesh material (I haven't tried my son in it yet and I am guessing knowing him he won't mind but it seems strange to me)...so I have been checking out the Triumph and found a couple of good deals on 2006 models but the website lists the weight limit as 40 pounds. I thought both the Volo and the Triumph were good to 55 pounds? That was one of my reasons for purchasing the Volo in the first place. Does anyone know for sure about the Triumph? The manual that came with the Volo says max weight of 55 pounds and isn't the Triumph the same frame as the Volo?

Thanks all!

They're the same frame. The Triumph feels more narrow to me because of the fabric seat. I think it really IS a bit more narrow. If you don't like the mesh fabric of the Volo, I'd recommend just getting an accessory pack and using the pad. My kids have never had a problem with the mesh, however, and it's GREAT for post-pool use!

So after playing with The Volo and letting my older son push my younger son all over the house in it...we love it! And QuassEE, you are right I checked out the Triumph and while I loved it's padding it really does seem narrower through the seat and also the back of it seems shorter (more than 1/2 of ds's head was above the seat back so when he leaned his head back he wasn't very comfortable)..I think it may be because of the way the Volo seat is more sling-like if that makes sense and the Triumph has a more supported type back since it has the recline so he just sits differently in it. He seems very happy with his new stroller so hopefully he will be happy in it as we rush through the airports next week!

So glad you like it, we love ours! I think the Triumph is a bit shallower too my kids definately fit in it differently than the Volo. Enjoy your new stroller!

Glad you love it! We got ours out (we have a 2002 model, it still looks like new and works perfectly) and my dd climbed right in and tried to stay there all day :D

My elder dd used to nap in it beautifully when she was 2-4, and people would always comment on how comfortable she looked, her head never flopped down!

We have the accessory kit, but I find it folds so much easier and smaller without the hood or pad that we rarely use it (it's my 'rolling beach chair' stroller, I don't expect it to hold much, I just want to be able to fold it in seconds when I need to :D)
