SUBARU OUTBACK or RAV4 - Two RF Car Seats?

My husband and I are looking for a vehicle that will hold two RF car seats. We currently have a Britax Boulevard and a Maxi Cosi Mico. We are interested in the Subaru Outback or the Toyota Rav4. The vehicles will NOT be new but I'm not sure of the year as of yet.

Can you tell me if two car seat (either the ones I own or any car seats) will fit RF in either of these vehicles?

Many thanks!

Jeni.

I just have to say that I HATE putting rear-facing seats in a RAV4. That is a tight back seat, and it has a prohibition on touching the front seats, which does not help.

have to chime in as well, I had an 01 (I think) Subaru outback and it was next to impossible to get my MA RF in it, and when I did - it was extremely difficult to get dd3 into her seat. The way the seat was positioned along with the door jamb/frame made it difficult and she ended up with a lot of head bumps .

That was another thing on my list of reasons to get rid of the car. :twocents:

Prior to buying either one, I strongly suggest *test driving* your seats in both of them. My oldest dd1 is approximately 5'9" and was "smooshed" when the MA was RF.
