And, it definitely did NOT fit.

I forgot who asked, but just in case you wanted to know that random factoid, there it is :)

DARN! It was me who asked. I guess I need to go with Graco for the next baby. :( I'm just afraid my most likely tiny baby won't fit right...again.... Oh well, we'll have to figure it out....or maybe graco will come out with something that fits tiny babies by then

Oh, good, glad you didn't shoot the messenger, lol. I DID notice that one of the Gracos now has what looks like a very cushy newborn pad, not sure if it went under the bum, but there were flaps down by the thighs that may serve to make the SR35 fit a little better. I think it was on the East Hampton seat, not sure if it's in the non-travel system seats or it can be ordered separately yet, though.

No, no hard feelings here :D Thanks for checking though! I've got time, the baby isn't conceived yet, lol! I like to plan ahead.

Our LemonGrass pattern SR35 came in with that type of insert. I actually wondered if that would influence fit on a tiny baby too. Will be interesting to find out.

I've seen 4 styles of SR35 and all have those. I'm not sure they would do much for fit shoulder-wise though since they don't go under the bum?

Oh. Yay. Lemongrass 35.

(To say that no one buys the Lemongrass by choice might be an understatement, it's shockingly unpopular, and people hate the Mosaic, we have just dozens of the 32's rotting in our store, can't imagine the 35 being more popular )

(PS, to those of you who LIKE the Lemongrass, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, it just doesn't meet the aesthetic needs of the shopping population I work with... at least it's soft in the middle where you put the baby! :))

KQ, maybe the hip pads will squish babies together more and that'll push them up to the straps? Like how the Marathon and Radian have the same measurements but the Marathon squishes kids upwards to be over the top slots sooner? At least that's my wacky theory on that, the human body IS mostly water, which fits to the container it's in, lol.
