Anyone know LATCH weight limits for Mazdas?

all this discussion about the kyle miller misinformation has me concerned about the LATCH limits in my mazda3. i have scoured the owner's manual and nowhere is it mentioned that the LATCH anchors have a weight limit. does anyone know?

second question, do you factor in the weight of the carseat when calculating the load on the LATCH system? i.e., if you have a carseat that weighs 22 lbs, and your child is only 26 lbs, then the total load on the LATCH system is already 48 lbs! so i would assume you do NOT include the weight of the seat... am i right? because otherwise, almost all kids plus their carseats would exceed the typical 48 lb limit by the time they were FFing!
