Well - i can install it rock solid with latch no problem - -

she is on the 4th slot -If i leave the headwings where it says to (right above childs shoulders according to the manual) then it covers the harness slot and therefore pushing the harness to come out right at her shoulders - If I move the headwings up above the 4th slot the wings are really high
Why is this seat smarter than me - Help:eek:

ETA: this picture shows where the harness appears to be with the headwings positioned by her head - the slot that the harness is coming out of is actually an 1-2" abover he shoulder under the headwings - i can't find anywhere int he manual where this would happen or where that would be OK - So do you jack the headwings up above the harness slot and she esentially looses the SIP (b/c the headwings will be abover her head) Or do i leave it where the headwings cover the harness slot?

Pics to show the headwings above the harness slot: (this is after I got annoyed and put the MA back int he car b/c i need a seat tomorrow)

So which way is correct? Headwings where they should be by her head or headwings above the harness slot?

I don't get it - I'm so confused:(

when the straps are in the top slots the head wings cover the straps if they are low enough to be where they are supposed to be. they are so high when they are not over the straps that they look like they would be useless.

There was a thread floating around here that addressed this a little while ago. Someone contacted Sunshine Kids and received a reply on what to do. Let me see if I can find it...

Here's the link to the thread: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=110915

The reply from SK is all of the way at the bottom of the first page. Hope that helps!

Thank you! i just email SKJP customer service - the harness would be quite a bit below her shoulders if I move it down a slot and I really don't want the wings up that high - So I guess i will wait and see what answer i get back - i really want to put this seat in my car:(
