Need seat recs for a 2007 GMC Sierra

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a seat for my husbands truck.

I need something that rear faces and forward faces with plenty of room left over so i can put my seat back that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (mom is buying so no britax :? ) will rear face up to 40 pounds or more and that will forward face up to 60 pounds or more.

If i can find something that fits this description or close to it and that will fit into our truck rear facing ( and it must fit!) than i'll be happy. Im just hoping that someone else here has a gmc and has had luck installing a seat.

Well, wanting to RF to 40 lbs. or more limits you. There are the Radians, which are narrow, but may not fit well front to back, and are expensive. The Graco MyRide, which won't last tall/skinny kids to 40 by height, but is cheap. And the Safety 1st Complete Air, which should fit fine front to back and has a very tall shell so will get almost any kid to the limit rear-facing, but only goes to 50 lbs. FF and is also not cheap.

The MyRide probably comes closest to meeting all your criteria.

My LO is a small girl and so if she keeps up both her weight and height growth like she is now the seat might actually expire before she needs to be moved to FF.

Because she is so little for her age I'm thinking we will be RF for the long haul.

Anyone else have a GMC have recs?
