I want to help my cuz buy high back boosters for her kids, who has custody of her 8 year old nephew, her van has no head rest and they may need to fit 3 across. I am on a budget but children's safety takes priority. I also seen a pic of her 1 year old forward facing on her myspace, anything I can print out to give to her.
TIA!

For the boosters - there are some brands that can not be installed in a vehicle with no headrests (Dorel, Safety 1st, Cosco to name a few).

Graco Turbo boosters are nice - I just gifted one to a friend in a similar vehicle configuration as your cousin. Evenflo Big Kids - are less expensive but a little less sturdy too. Perhaps they are shorter too... I can't remember but they may be a better budget option for you.

I agree about the turboboosters... as long as the kids fit them comfortably.

for the baby, I'd start with the AAP recommendation of age 2, the old msnbc article (someone should have the link or you can look for it on cpsafety.com or on here somewhere), and go from there. They are both good because they give an age where statistics from testing proved that there is a certain age that makes a real difference.

you won't know till you try them, but they should be fine.

the britax booster is great, but I don't like having to use that sg clip for older kids... inconvenient.
