    Peg-Pergo DATE ??

    I have an infant Peg-pergo bucket. manf. date of the year 2003 - - so this seat would be outdated now - correct?

    Peg seats have a 5 year lifespan.

    5 years from date of manufacturer, which is listed on the sticker on the seat and base.

    That is correct; the seat expired sometime in 2008.

    Thanks for that, I thought it was, it was given by a friend, and I was pretty sure not usable. I have my own still that has another year on it. I got this one with my preivious pregnancy when we thougth we were having twins and even then it still would have been expired just before birth.

    The 5 year expiry versus the 6 year expiry for a seat that's significantly more expensive than other seats is one of the reasons why the PV is rarely recommended As well--the older models you have likely don't have a beltpath to be installed baseless--another downside to the older PVs.
